Welcome to Powder Haus

Set in the exclusive Cedars development at the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Powder Haus is a place to arrive, exhale, and feel at home. The mountain is at your doorstep, and the resort's dining and village are a short stroll away.



Inside, you'll find a refined retreat designed for comfort: generous, light-filled spaces, premium linens, and quiet corners to unwind after a day on the slopes. Gather by the fireplace, linger over a meal in the dining room, or settle in on the deck with the valley stretching out before you.

Living Area

Step up to the top floor and into an open-concept space where the living room, dining area, and kitchen flow together beneath a vaulted ceiling. Large windows fill the room with natural light and frame the snowy evergreens outside.

A sleek linear gas fireplace anchors the room, with a wall-mounted TV above and a generous sectional made for sinking into after a day on the hill. A built-in desk by the window offers a quiet spot to catch up on email, and the deck and hot tub are just steps away.

Kitchen and Dining


The chef's kitchen anchors the open-concept top floor, with a generous quartz island seating four, a gas cooktop, double wall ovens, and a built-in stainless steel fridge. Pendant lights and soft recessed lighting keep it warm and inviting from morning coffee to late-night cooking.

Just beyond, a handsome wood table seats eight beneath a modern linear chandelier, with the living room and fireplace within easy reach. Tall windows and glass doors to the deck fill the space with light, making it the natural spot for long breakfasts and lively dinners with the whole group.

King Bedroom

A rustic timber king bed anchors this quiet lower-level retreat, dressed in soft neutral linens with maple-leaf "home" pillows. Plush carpet, a cellular shade over the high window, a wall-mounted TV, and a patterned accent chair keep it cozy and calm, ideal for sleeping in after a big day on the hill.



The suite shares a spacious bathroom with the lower level, finished in soft stone-look tile with a deep soaking tub, rainfall shower, floating wood vanity, and plenty of built-in shelving for towels and essentials.

The Bunk Room

Built-in timber bunks with charcoal bedding give this lower-level bunkroom a cozy, cabin feel, with under-bed drawers for storage and a dedicated closet for gear. Soft carpet and a quiet setting make it a favourite for kids, teens, and groups.

Media Room



Tucked away on the lower level, this cozy hideaway is made for movie nights. A plush sectional that pulls out to a queen bed faces a large wall-mounted TV with a soundbar, Blu-ray player, and satellite DVR.

The Entryway & Laundry


Whether you come in through the front door or straight from the garage, you land in a spacious mudroom made for ski days. A long built-in bench, coat hooks, and cubbies keep boots, gloves, and helmets organized and out of the living spaces.

A full-size front-loading washer and dryer sit alongside, making it easy to turn wet layers around between runs.

Garage/Ski Storage


The extended-length garage doubles as your ski base camp. A wall-mounted rack holds skis, a boot and glove dryer warms everything up for the next morning, and a wooden bench makes it easy to unclip and settle in. A rubber mat by the ski door keeps the snow and wet contained.

Step through the interior door and you're straight into the entryway and laundry, with the rest of the home just beyond.

Hot Tub and Deck Area


Soak in the steaming water of your private hot tub while snow-laden evergreens and the Columbia Valley mountains stretch out before you. Just off the main living space, the full-length deck is the perfect place to unwind after a day on the hill, with a gourmet grill nearby for easy après dinners under the stars.
